Pathology Inc. is happy to offer our clients digital pathology imaging. We can create virtual slides of your special cases. You can use these images for case conferences, to discuss results with patients, or to create your own virtual slide box of interesting cases.
You can order digital slide scans online or use the Immunohistochemistry order form. If you are a pathologist using our contract histology service, just give your glass slides(s) to one of our couriers. We have developed slide labeling software (PathLabel) to assist in creating 2D barcode labels.
If the pathology case was performed at Pathology Inc., fax a digital slide request form to us at (310) 698-7051. You may also order virtual slide scans over the web using the form on the left or call our digital pathology laboratory toll free at: (877) 922-7284 ext. 3177. You can also email us, including the following information:
- the Pathology Inc. case number
- your name and email address
- preferred delivery date
We will notify you via email once the scans are completed. Most cases are available within a day or two, but please let us know if the request is urgent.
You will need a name and password to access the digital slide. Contact us if you do not already have a login account setup.
Scanning the slides is only part of the story. You will automatically have access to our web-based information management system called Spectrum Plus. With Spectrum Plus, you can manage and host your digital slide collection, and have the same powerful digital slide viewing and editing, workflow management, data archival, intelligent retrieval, and analytical capabilities found in a ScanScope System. We also can provide you with our own custom software called PathLIVE to catalog your bookmarks, help manage a virtual slide box, and create powerful tumor board presentations.
